Research
Alongside our work with clients, we study new ways for people and intelligent systems to work together.
An agent native company
Anima Sigma is its own first client. It was founded with agents and runs with them every day, from the inbox to the books. That makes the company a living version of the work we do for others. The agents run its processes, help us observe them, and help us redesign them, including their own place in them. Each turn of that loop teaches us something about where people matter most. We are documenting it as it unfolds, and will share what we learn.
Interfaces at the edge of attention
Books, computers, the internet and phones each brought information closer to the person. We are interested in the next step, and in doing it without competing for attention. Our first study is a negotiation prototype that never interrupts. When a claim may not hold up, slow waves of color move along the edges of a phone screen, carrying only as much as a person can take in mid conversation. We are taking the same idea into glasses and voice. The information comes closer, and the judgment stays yours.
Context from the physical world
An agent reasons only as well as what it can perceive. We are exploring how sensor and connected device data can give agents a fuller sense of the places where work happens, so their help fits the moment.
Seeing
We are working with computer vision so that agents can understand what happens in a room, on a site or from the air. Our studies include live analysis of camera streams, where the system does the watching and people keep the decisions. The aim is simple: people should spend less time describing the world to their tools.
